It is interesting to me that Republican candidates for government positions are trying to promote and elevate those with little education and a demonstrated poor ability to learn to positions of power. We see people like Herschel Walker, Lauren Boebert, Marjorie Taylor Greene being treated like scholars meanwhile, those who are educated are treated as pariahs with intent to take away our “rights” by educating us. It’s absolutely insane and a product of our presidential nightmare that was Donald Trump. I am so thankful that he no longer has any power over us. He is quite obviously a foreign-bought dummy agent who will become the scapegoat for all the soulless Republicans now promoting him to take over our country’s resources.
Republicans don’t care about our country. They have shown time and time again that they will use their authority to extort wealth and become puppets for the corporations who funnel money into their bank accounts. Why would they do that, you ask? Quite simply so that they don’t have to pay trillions of dollars in taxes. Under Trump the top corporations in the US payed collectively $0 in taxes.
Their current go-to move is to sow hate so that the poor will be so busy hating people that have nothing to do with the problem that they won’t realize that they are being swindled by these powerful corporations. If people give in to hate we will lose our greatest superpower as humans – compassion, mercy and kindness. The media is intent on causing us to fear this great apocalypse that they are creating – a nuclear meltdown of society because of global warming. They make movies about zombies and people believe the only way they will be able to protect themselves is by hoarding, hiding, and gun-toting. Their prey are the elderly. The craziest part is that they don’t understand that global warming is not an absolute death sentence if we prepare for alternative sources of energy other than fossil fuels.
Religion is another tool that is being wielded against minorities and women. The church officials couldn’t be happier if you feel obliged to give away your last dime to their already rich and tax free organizations. Republicans want to take control over a woman’s agency and tell us what to do with our bodies. But it’s no surprise. White men have been stripping other people of their rights since Christianity has sold them the lie that they are superior than other elements of society. Their idea of paganism is the educated. They call anything they don’t understand witchcraft.
