We are at a precipice now that we must come back from or we will continue to suffer at the hands of law enforcement professional. I was watching a crime show on TV and it was about a prostitution ring that two womyn had been involved in. More specifically, these two womyn were forced into the sex trade by stronger and more powerful men. What struck me was that these two womyn were known prostitutes who were clearly being pimped but the blame and jail-time was always suffered by the womyn. They had all the tax information in their possession and were being investigated for tax evasion. You can’t tell me this world isn’t still run by the patriarchy. Not once was their pimp arrested.
But as a womyn, I know that I am considered financially lesser than a man and paid as such. It’s a system that encourages female dependency on men. This whole bullshit we’ve been sold about men and the importance of fatherhood in a child’s relational development is historically wrong. Only “after recorded civilization commenced [did the patriarchal family] became established” (The First Sex, p.86).
It seems obvious that fatherhood was unknown even as recently as five thousand years ago.

Prior to the this time families were headed by the mother. At one point in time ancient communities believed that it wasn’t even necessary for there to be a male in the process of reproduction.
When in ancient history men started to get restless as the lesser sex they started to become marauding groups that would kill animals for sport and eat them without even cooking the meat. This meat consumption started to make their genitals bigger and unfortunately womyn became more inclined to mate with a male who hunted.
To this day, many men prefer meat consumption to vegetarianism. Part of the reason that the police has become intoxicated with masculinity is this desire to hunt and kill things that are less fortunate, unhealthy, or feminine. In fact, they created the Bible from this killer, winner-take-all mentality. The Bible is a book about what not to do. Unfortunately in contemplating what not to do, one creates a sinners to-do list and since we are all (according to the Bible) sinners we may as well get a few commandments disobeyed before we commit to Christianity or baptism. Even then, every move is mechanical and a fight between one’s naughty and nice angels. Not only this but the bible makes heroes out of the worst of society. Look at Saul! Also, the Bible forgives the worst of it’s offenders while condemning the least of offenders like Jezebel. The Bible serves no justice. It is a long-winded wet dream of the toxic patriarchy.
Until our police force start to examine themselves and their motives, we might be in this state for a while. Meditation and yoga classes should be mandatory for police officers. We cannot afford to have sadistic law enforcement officers. It is a noble profession but it should not make it’s employees above the law. More womyn, POC, and LGBTQ should be hired in law enforcement. They should be compensated fairly and be respected by their male counterparts.
I’m particularly pleased that cannabis is now legal in my state. I’m not a user but I know that there are a lot of people who benefit from it’s medicinal properties. Part of the seizure of medicine by the pharmaceutical industry has robbed womyn of real healing and in it’s place has offered a super-long list of side effects that are worse than the original illness that afforded them care in the first place. The Bible says that witchcraft (womyn’s wisdom medicine) is sinful only because the people that wrote it wanted to demonize womyn and take away our power over our own bodies.
It is telling that Hillary Clinton was forced to give testimony for eleven hours because of some missing emails and Donald Trump is allowed to take classified information to Mar-A-Lago and flush it down the toilet. Seriously, what is wrong with these men? Republicans are so used to feeding us a version of the truth that is utterly a lie no one expects them to suffer any consequences. I mean, we all know what they did with the insurrection and yet, not a one has paid or been held accountable for attempted murder, perjury, theft, rape, sex trafficking, etc. It’s disgusting. But that’s what makes a good Christian, their humility and denial of all reason, right?
