I am in absolute shock that the Supreme Court just voted to overturn Roe v. Wade. Six “Christian” judges get to have a say what 156 million women can do with their own bodies. All the while the Republicans are making it easier to own and carry an AR-15 assault rifle. It is so absolutely sick and disturbing that someone as reprehensible as Donald Trump should be able to pack the Supreme Court with new members that don’t really believe that rape is criminal behavior but abortion is deserving of jail time. This is a nightmare.
What is disturbing is that we have always known who Donald Trump was. He made that clear with his “grab them by the pussy” diatribe. I am wondering what woman could in good conscience support him? Is this where Republican women want to be: barefoot and pregnant serving men? All I can say is that women that cower to men and teach their daughters that their sons are more worthy of autonomy than them, kindly recuse yourself from political discourse.
I tell you that that is the end game of Christianity: for men to subdue and reign over women. I attended a church in my community for a few months until I heard the preacher and those in charge spew hatred for women. It was a Church of Christ and they lined the pews with women and men but wouldn’t allow the women to participate in the church bible study. Women could listen but the minister told them that they couldn’t contribute to the conversation or bible study. They made sure that women tithed though and encouraged us to find jobs where we could make more money to tithe.
This church didn’t even have the decency to sing well. It was like listening to the strangulation of one hundred cats. I don’t believe in Christianity. It is nonsense. What god would require the sacrifice of his own son? If you make god a monster it excuses your parishioners from having to behave civilly. It’s been a shit show ever since Jesus came because it’s a religion designed to suck power, influence and wealth from women. That is what Jesus made clear when he took the widow’s last mite – in exchange for what? Jesus is the one with a money bag – Judas was treasurer. Why is he taking a widow’s last mite of income?
I don’t trust anyone who claims to dine on the divine flesh of Jesus and drink his blood. This is just substitution of ego worship. I think it is what has made the Christian church sick, that and meat consumption. Why should the innocents suffer so that the Christians can have some meat to eat?
I was just reading that 65% of the population claims religious affiliation with Christianity. If that is true, why do Christians carry weapons? A friend of mine noted that most people that she knew who really held on to Christianity were those who had done some pretty reprehensible stuff and wanted to claim themselves forgiven despite the sins of their past. My opinion is that no amount of Jesus can change a Christian’s amount of self-hate that they continually beat themselves with in an attempt to show contrition. They should somehow reveal what kind of Christian olympics goes on in the churches. It’s like a dick measuring contest for readers of the Bible.
